Having drunk numerous spiced rum, all the well known brands this is by far the best neat drinking spiced rum.
The others I drink with a well known mixer but this is like fine cognac or single malt whisky. Made to be drunk neat. Production is of a very high standard and there is consistency of colour, aroma and importantly flavours. Personally I like the bottle as well. It's a good shape, chunky and has weight to it.
If you like spiced rum you need to try this one.

Bought my first bottle of Gin Bothy Original at Blair Atholl Horse Trials in 2024 & have to say it is one of my favourite gins now! Never without a bottle in the house! Try to keep it for special occasions!
