Gin Bothy - Amaretto Infused Liqueur
£26.00 GBP
A very special artisan gin liqueur, this 20% ABV infusion came about after our founder visited Italy to research agritourism. Inspired by her travels, she watched how the almonds were ground into a paste, then used as a base for Amaretto coffees and cakes. Once back in Scotland, this special recipe was conceived and when added to our gin the Gin Bothy Amaretto Liqueur was born.
AWARD WINNING - Our Amaretto was a finalist with a Bronze award in the Scottish Gin Awards in 2017 and also holds a Great Taste Award.
HAND CRAFTED – All of our Gin Bothy gin's originate from our small distillery in the Angus Glens. Hand-turned and hand-batched, each bottle is lovingly made for each customer.
UNIQUE FLAVOURS – Amaretto gains its unique flavour from carefully chosen ingredients. Infused with ground almonds and sugar – this gin has fast become a favourite of our customers, its nutty taste does not disappoint.
SIGNATURE SERVE : Great on the rocks or as part of an aromatic cocktail creation.
CULINARY SUGGESTIONS : Popular as an accompaniment to your cheeseboard.

Bought for the bottle but I’m thoroughly enjoying the contents over ice at this very minute! Delicious.
Have had bothy gin myself before and sent a gift . It was well received
Sweet and delicate. Excellent taken neat over ice.
Thank goodness Christmas can early here . I called in yesterday and bought a selection of gins. For drinking over the winter when we have people to dinner and the snow flags are flying . The first bottle I am tempted to try is the Amaretto Gin Liqueur . I have been steadily reducing the full bottle down with some slithers of gingerbread. Kim, the owner, is very knowledgeable and generous with her time telling us which would go with each course and this is perfect either as mixed as a cocktail or in a shot glass. It has a creaminess which I dont think I have every tasted before and I love it ...
I tried this for the first time at the Country Living Fair 4 years ago and it’s now become a Christmas must. I like to drink it straight over ice and it’s so popular with Christmas visitors that the bottle rarely lasts to the New Year.
