Spiced Rum Bothy — handcrafted in Scotland
Starting out as farm buildings, crofts and, in our case, a smiddy — or blacksmith’s forge — Scotland’s bothies have long had a deep connection with the land.
Over the years, these welcoming shelters in the wilderness are where people have huddled before a hastily-lit fire, sharing songs, stories and recipes. And, of course, passing round a wee nip.
Fitting then that in our award-winning bothy we hand batch our spirits, blending distilled and cask-aged rums with spices, including saffron hand-picked right here in the Strathmore valley.
The end result’s something rather special — a premium, full-strength, sweet sipping rum. With base notes of saffron, orange and mixed spice, it's perfect on ice or in a cocktail.
